I’m amazed that Josh Rouse isn’t a bigger star. He is a gifted singer songwriter who you could easily see at the top of the charts at any period over the last 50 years in music. He writes catchy melodies and lyrics that are easy to relate to. I’ve heard his style described as lounge rock and I find that too limiting. While he is certainly easy to listen to, he is also a composer and musician of substance. I also feel he gets better with each succeeding record. I could pick from any number of songs, but thought that “Love Vibration” was a fitting vibe for the weekend. The video is also a nice glimpse of Josh playing live and how effortless it seems to be to him (and his ability to connect with a crowd).
